Get Involved

Whether you’ve got half an hour to spare or half a day a month – our approach to customer involvement ensures that you can get involved whatever your circumstances. 

You can become a mystery shopper by testing our services or complete surveys, polls and questionnaires from the comfort of your own home. You could attend one of our regular Forums, meet Equity colleagues, pass on your feedback and discuss current and new services.  

By joining our Customer Advisory Group (CAG) you can influence and shape the services we provide by reviewing customer feedback data or, if you have an enquiring mind, you could hold us to account by acting as our ‘critical friend’ as part of our Scrutiny Group.

We encourage customers to get involved because it helps us to understand how we can improve. Getting your views on what you want from your home and neighbourhood helps us as we develop services to meet your needs.

As well as improving the services we offer, being an involved customer can help you to meet new people and develop new skills. If you don’t have much time to spare, you could give your views by phone or email, at a time to suit you.

 

Taxi arrangements for Customer Involvement activity:

We have recently reviewed our policy relating to taxi transport provided by the Group for customer involvement activity. Please note that from 1 April 2018, Equity Housing Group will be unable to arrange taxi bookings for involved customers.

Where customers attend involvement activities, the Group will continue to reimburse them for reasonable out of pocket travel expenses and for public transport fares, however we will only reimburse for taxi journeys by exception and where prior agreement has been given, e.g. if attendance at a venue is not immediately accessible by public transport or where a customer may have a mobility problem.
